Development Consultancy

Sheridan can assist and support in managing all aspects of the housing development process - from land aquisition and assembly through to securing planning consent and construction delivery.

Interim Services

We are able to support on an interim basis within client organisations at director or head of service level, or in senior project delivery roles. We can support directly or draw from our extensive network of specialist contacts and affiliates.

Viability Assessments

We regularly prepare financial viability assessments to accompany planning applications, as well as provide strategic viability advice to local authorities in repect of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), Section 106 agreements and contriubutions and Local Plan reviews.

Strategic Asset Management

Sheridan supports land and property owners, including local authorities and housing associations, to release and realise value, efficiency and development potential from their assets. We carry out options appraisals and deliver stock aquisitions or disposals.

Affordable Housing

Sheridan provides comprehensive advice and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of developing different forms and tenures of affordable housing. These include financial viability, rent and grant analysis and securing deals between developers and housing associations.

Joint Ventures, Deals & Partnerships

We are experienced in structuring and delivering complex deals including land, development and forward purchase agreements, as well as undertaking robust option analysis for alternative development strategies including joint ventures and partnership agreements.

Regeneration

We are acutely aware of the complexities of urban and estate regeneration. We can help establish clear, coherent and risk aware regeneration strategies which are deliverable and viable.

Build to Rent (BTR)

We have an in depth understanding of this growing asset class and can provide comprehensive support in the viable planning and design of BTR projects, including discount market rent models (DMR).
